Hacienda La Esmeralda is a farm in the mountains of western Panama located on the slopes of Mount Barú, in the munciplaity of Boquete.

Due to the climate and varietal, Esmeralda Special is a low yielding coffee, only producing about 100 bags at present. The Esmeralda Special can only be obtained through a special private auction and we are proud to have won a lot again in this year’s auction, and to offer this treasure to you – the people.

This specific lot of coffee is grown in the Jarmillo region, which has an elevation of 1500m above sea level. It is 100% Geisha Varietal and is from the section of the farm called Caballeriza. Truly exceptional coffee. Intensely rich, floral and sweet. Juicy with complex acidity, with notes of mango, pineapple, and red berries.
